Meet Fighter: Our Breast Cancer Awareness Candle for October
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year, we wanted to do something that felt meaningful to us.
So we created Fighter.
A sculptural pink candle created as a little reminder of strength, love, support and hope — and a way for Sculptedwax to give something back.
Because breast cancer touches so many families. It’s mums, sisters, daughters, friends, partners and people we know and love.
And sometimes, even a small gesture can say:
I’m thinking of you. I’m standing beside you. I’m here.
Why We Created Fighter
At Sculptedwax, we’ve always believed candles can be about more than simply lighting a wick.
They’re the little moments.
The quiet five minutes at the end of the day.
The candle you light while you’re having a cuppa.

The one you give to someone because you don’t quite know what to say, but you want them to know you’re thinking of them.
That’s what we wanted Fighter to represent.

$2 From Every Fighter Candle Sold in October
This is the part that matters most to us.
Throughout October 2026, $2 from every Fighter Candle sold will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
NBCF is Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation funding breast cancer research, with its research focused on preventing, detecting, stopping and treating breast cancer. Its vision is Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
So when you purchase a Fighter Candle this October, you’re not just taking home a Sculptedwax candle.
You’re helping us give back.
One candle = $2 donated.
And if our little Fighter campaign can help contribute to research that creates better outcomes for people affected by breast cancer, we’ll be incredibly proud of that.

We know $2 might sound like a small amount.
But that’s exactly why we wanted to make the contribution simple.

This October, Let’s Stand Together
Breast cancer research has made significant progress, and NBCF reports that Australia’s breast cancer death rate has fallen by more than 40% over the past 30 years. But its work continues, with research still focused on preventing breast cancer, detecting it earlier, stopping progression and recurrence, and improving treatment options.
That’s why we’re proud to support the work being done through NBCF this October.
Because there’s still more to do.
And we’d love for our little pink Fighter to be part of it.
